Better connections between tech professionals and the companies they help build.
InGauss combines AI-guided role-playing challenges with a purpose-built mathematical model to explore compatibility between people, teams and work contexts—through how people reason, collaborate and apply their knowledge.
In development. Our mathematical model, AI game master and basic interface prototype are operational. Broader testing is ahead.

01 / THE CHALLENGE
Good people. Missed connections.
Hiring can cost both sides far too much—in money, time and energy—while still missing what makes a working relationship succeed.
FOR PEOPLE
More interviews. Too little understanding.
Students and professionals repeat assessments, invest unpaid time and face ghosting, often without discovering whether a team is right for them.
Repetitive processes that miss relevant abilities.
Working styles and cultural resonance left to chance.
Poor matches that can contribute to turnover and burnout.
FOR COMPANIES
Big challenges. A limited talent radar.
Expensive recruitment does not always reach the people a new initiative needs. Smaller organizations face the same demands with fewer resources.
High acquisition costs and limited reach.
Talent shortages and market-driven departures.
Too little context about collaboration and sustainable performance.
02 / OUR AMBITION
Better access. Less wasted potential.
Our ambition is to make access to key tech talent more affordable and discovery more worthwhile for candidates. Data-informed estimates suggest potential recruitment costs up to 10× lower and a path from discovery to hiring in 24 hours or less. These are goals to validate with a larger market sample, not demonstrated results or guarantees.

03 / THE IDEA
Discover. Understand. Connect.
The experience we are building uses an AI game master to guide role-playing challenges. A mathematical model interprets what happens in the game in relation to a real work context.
01 / AI-GUIDED ROLE-PLAYING
Take on a challenge.
A specially configured AI game master creates varied situations that invite people to reason, make decisions, collaborate and apply technical knowledge. The aim is to observe relevant abilities as work changes with AI.
Game events feed a mathematical model designed to explore six dimensions of compatibility. The relevant context includes the company, team, role and situation—not just a job title or a résumé. Broader validation is still ahead.
The planned platform will help people and companies discover promising matches and start informed conversations. A compatibility result is intended to support judgment; it is not a promise of hiring or a substitute for getting to know one another.
The model explores compatibility between people, organizations and situations. These dimensions describe a working relationship, not a person’s worth.
01
Suitability
How a person’s capabilities relate to the demands of a role.
02
Relevance
How those capabilities fit the specific situation and its needs.
03
Expertise
The knowledge and practical skill brought to a challenge.
04
Culture
Values and ways of working that can support collaboration without requiring sameness.
05
Belonging
The conditions for feeling included and contributing to a team.
06
Potential
The capacity to learn, adapt and grow as the context changes.
04 / OUR JOURNEY
Working foundations. More to validate.
InGauss is an early-stage product in development. Here is what is operational today and what comes next.
01
OPERATIONAL TODAY
The core is taking shape.
Our mathematical model, AI game master agent and basic interface prototype are operational. This is a development milestone, not proof of market outcomes.
02
NEXT / COMPLETE & TEST
Bring the experience together.
Complete the remaining components, integrate the experience and test it with a broader sample of people and companies.
03
ROADMAP / EARLY ACCESS
Make participation worthwhile.
Temporary free access and candidate rewards are planned. We intend to make rewarding candidates’ time a lasting platform mechanic. Timing, eligibility and benefits are still being defined.
05 / WHO IT IS FOR
Tech careers. Ambitious teams.
Built around the reality of technical work: new AI tools, changing production strategies and evolving business needs.
Students and professionals
People in software engineering, data, AI, QA, project and product roles who want their relevant abilities and potential to be understood.
Companies building with technology
Organizations looking for people suited to their roles, ways of working and current challenges. We place particular emphasis on SMEs and emerging organizations with ambitious goals and modest budgets.
An ecosystem worth building
Educators, communities and strategic allies who can help us test assumptions, improve the experience and broaden access to opportunity.
06 / LET’S BUILD WHAT’S NEXT
Help shape what comes next.
We welcome investors, strategic allies, sponsors and people interested in supporting the project over time. Bring a real hiring challenge, research perspective or partnership idea. A Patreon page is not available yet; contact us to explore ways to contribute.
As professionals and team leads, we have experienced the cost, repeated effort, frustration and ghosting of recruitment. We believe people deserve a more thoughtful process—and companies deserve access to excellent talent without an outsized budget.
Different strengthsBetter together
Respect people’s time
Repeated assessments and unanswered applications carry a real human cost. We want participation to become valuable in its own right.
Understand the context
Skills alone cannot explain every successful collaboration. Expectations, working styles and the situation matter too.
Build, test, improve
Our conviction comes from lived experience. Our claims still need evidence: broader testing will help us learn what works and where to improve.
